What did Michael Arnold do? Video shows man allegedly stalking New York resident Cassandra Wilusz

The 65-year-old Michael Arnold was formally accused of numerous offences, including aggravated stalking, breaking a restraining order, resisting arrest, impeding a law enforcement officer, and giving false information to the police in southern Vermont, where he kept his jet.

After that, he was freed on strict terms that included staying away from the woman, abstaining from stalking her, and keeping a 300-foot (91-meter) distance from both her house and place of business in addition to all aeroplanes. According to an FBI agent who disclosed that Arnold had been stalking the Schuylerville woman for around four years, there was also a restraining order preventing him from flying.

What Happened between Michael Arnold and New York resident Cassandra Wilusz

According to Cassie Wilusz, a former patron has been harassing her for four years by constantly flying his Cessna 180 aircraft over her Schuylerville, New York, home.

According to the investigating officer in Bennington, Vermont, this person, identified as Michael Arnold, has been seen flying at low altitudes over the community of Schuylerville and has even been seen on occasion tossing tomatoes from his aircraft.

Police Release Statement

According to court documents, the woman told local media that Arnold had been a client at her café and expressed long-standing anxieties for her safety and worries that he may deliberately crash his jet into her home.

On a Tuesday, Arnold was apprehended as he arrived at Bennington, Vermont’s William H. Morse State Airport, where he kept his 1976 Cessna 180 single-engine plane.

He denied engaging in any stalking actions while being detained and refuted the assertion that he had flown his jet the day before, stating that he had been a passenger with someone else.

Arnold further admitted to the arresting officer that he had not spoken to the woman and claimed that, despite what is stated in the affidavit, he could have easily carried out whatever ill intents he had towards her.

Arnold said in the affidavit that the Federal Aviation Administration had not placed any limitations on his ability to fly.

He clarified that the main goal of his flights above Schuylerville was to take pictures for their Facebook community page. These flights were based in Schuylerville, which is located about 30 miles (48 km) northwest of the Bennington airport.

A judge in Saratoga, New York, issued a temporary order of protection in response to the circumstance, requiring a guy by the name of Arnold to keep a good distance from a woman, her home, place of business, and workplace.

Arnold was also ordered not to fly any aircraft until his upcoming court appearance on November 30. Charges stemming from his June 1 arrest included stalking, resisting arrest, disobeying a court order, and impeding government operations.

He also has unresolved charges in the state of New York, including one felony offence. On October 1, a sergeant working for the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office claimed to have seen Arnold’s plane pass over Schuylerville. Arnold had moved his aircraft to a Maine airstrip, according to an FBI agent.
